What are tags & their usage?

Tags are groups of words that are used to add meaning to articles and make it easier to find them. Tags provide information about an article and make it simple to find related articles that share the same tag.

Tag Usage: 

The tag allows you to label any article with specific words, making it easier to find any articles in a section of the article list that has been tagged. 

Procedure for Adding Tags:

Tags can be manually added to any article by support staff or by the admin. To tag, any article follows these simple steps.

  • Login to your UVdesk Support Panel and go to the article section. 

     

 

  • Click on the new article section as mentioned below and open a new article as per your need.

 

 

On the left side of the article, you will find the Tags box as shown below.

 

 

Enter the name of that particular tag that you want to add to the article and hit the enter button to save.

 

After clicking the button, you received a confirmation message that you had successfully added the specified tag to the article.

Now, you can check the particular tag for the specific article on the front end, as shown below.

 

Moroever, you can check the number of total tickets and the number of total articles by just going to the Productivity > Tags as mentioned below.
